Facial fat grafting transfers the patient's own fat to the face to restore volume in areas such as the cheeks, temples and under-eye region.
What is facial fat grafting?
Facial fat grafting transfers a small amount of the patient's own fat, harvested by liposuction, into areas of the face that have lost volume, such as the cheeks, temples, under-eye hollows or lips. It offers longer-lasting volume than fillers because surviving fat is living tissue, but part of the graft is resorbed and results are less predictable.
