How long does breast fat grafting last?

Fat that survives the first few months after breast fat grafting generally behaves like normal body fat and can last long term, changing with body weight. The initial loss happens mostly within about three to six months as non-surviving fat is resorbed. Long-term volume therefore depends on how much of the graft survived initially and on later weight changes.
