Are SVF and stem cells the same thing?

No. SVF is a mixed population of cells from fat tissue that contains some stem/stromal cells along with endothelial, immune and other cells. "Stem cells" in marketing usually refers to adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC), which are a subset of SVF, often expanded in culture. SVF is freshly isolated and not expanded, so it contains far fewer stem cells per dose than a cultured ADSC product.
